Hey friend—I’m glad you’re here!

I’m a middle-aged wife, mom, former teacher, entrepreneur, and full-time farm wife in rural South Dakota. I didn’t grow up on a farm, so stepping into this life came with a steep learning curve— and a lot of questions.

Over the years, I started paying closer attention to what we bring into our home. Not just cleaning products, but food, ingredients, labels, and the stories we’re told about what’s “safe,” “health,” or “natural.”

I realized most families want to make better choices—but don’t have the time (or desire) to research every product on the shelf.

I get that. That’s ok!

Life is busy here, too. We’re raising a son, farming row crops, caring for cattle, keeping bees, and juggling all the everyday chaos that comes with real life. That’s why I share what I learn in a practical way — simple cleaner-living swaps, honest conversations about products and labels and a real look at modern farm life.

And just to be clear: this is not a homesteading site.

I love modern conveniences and products that save time. I simply want to know what comes into my home is a better choice.

Not perfection. Not all-or-nothing. Not overwhelming.

Just helpful information so you can make the best choices for your family.
